Liquid Analysis portfolio

Wide portfolio of liquid analyzers

01. Sensors for Liquid Analysis

Sensors

Based on KROHNE product range RMS covers all liquid analysis measured parameters. In addition, RMS installed KROHNE unique SMARTPAT where transmitters and sensors assembled in single body.

Unique Smart sensors
KROHNE was the first worldwide to offer liquid analyzers, where the transmitters are embedded in the same sensor body to make the benefit of neglecting the need of field transmitters as direct analogue output is obtained directly from the sensor. These sensors can measure, pH, ORP, and conductivity. They have HART output and suitable for ATEX zone installations.
Measuring all parameters
Standard sensors for measuring pH, ORP, turbidity, conductivity, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, dissolved oxygen, and Total Suspended Solids (TSS). Special versions for high pressure, high temperature and aggressive mediums. Sensors can be combined with converters than can take 1, 2 or 3 sensor inputs. Relay and Modbus output option are available.
Accessories
Flow-through, immersion, and retractable holders are available. Loop-powered indicators and junction boxes.

02. Liquid Analysis Systems

Analysis Systems

KROHNE provides complete special systems for turbidity, sludge, chlorine and other types of measurements.

Turbidity System
For precisely measuring turbidity using scattered light with digital display and self cleaning system. 2 alarm relays and Modbus RS485 are available.
Sludge System
Compact solution with integrated electronics for sedimentation measurement or for continuous tracking of sludge level. The measurement is based on Near Infra-Red (NIR) absorption with an option of automatic flush cleaning. Multiple outputs: 2 X analogue, relays and limit switches.
Other Systems
Additional analytical systems available for conductivity, chlorine, and total suspended solids.

03. photometers for Liquid Analysis

photometers

optek is market leader in photometers with devices that can measure almost any parameter in your medium, such as chlorine dioxide, chlorophyll, oil in water, turbidity, and product color quality.
Several Measuring Principles
To cover many applications, optek developed systems based on NIR, UV, or visible light absorption, light scattering, or combination between these principles. This made optek synonymous with many industries, like food & beverage, petrochemical, paper, pharmaceutical, and oil & gas.
Comprehensive portfolio
RMS relies on optek rich options as they have multiple material options whether for glass or sensor, holder, several converter outputs (several analogue and relays outputs, PROFIBUS, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, ...). Also special Explosion proof Ex d enclosure is available for the converters to allow installation in hazardous areas.

04. Refractometers for density and concentration measurement

Refractometers

Vaisala is a leading global provider of environmental and industrial measurement solutions headquartered in Finland. The company has over 85 years of experience in the field and offers a wide range of products and services including weather and environmental monitoring systems, industrial measurement instruments, and calibration services.

Accurate, drift-free measurements for liquid concentration
Vaisala Polaris process refractometers are used for inline liquid measurements to enable efficient process control and industrial automation. They are stand-alone and smart devices that measure and indicate concentration units and diagnostic information. They provide 4-20 mA or Modbus RTU outputs to connect directly to the control system. All process refractometers can also be connected with the Indigo520 for process refractometers for physical user interface and expansion of features.

Vaisala Polaris process refractometers are widely utilized to determine liquid concentration or density. This measurement has been an important element in the processing industries for over a century. Our advanced digital refractometer technology can significantly enhance the performance of refining, manufacturing, and quality control operations.

Real-time concentration measurements obtained through our inline refractometers can be used as a valuable predictive tool for achieving optimal final concentration. A quick and accurate response is needed to optimize production. Cost reduction is possible by reducing the variation of mean average of the product concentration. The cost saving is related to the value of the component being measured.
